ZACROS has announced new configurations of IV bags as part of its MediTect lineup of packaging for liquid pharmaceuticals.
MediTect products contain cyclic polyolefins (commonly known as COC or COP) and offer exceptional chemical compatibility and sorption resistance with an ultra-low extractables profile.
Though commercialized in Japan for over 15 years, these IV bags were originally designed for local filling machines, creating compatibility issues with equipment used globally. In response, ZACROS is developing bags with ports that meet global standards to satisfy customer demand outside Japan.
